It's Time to Oompa!

October will be here before you know it and that means PI-Gulf Coast's Oktoberfest celebration on Thursday, October 9th from 6PM - 9PM at St. Arnold's Brewery!

Exciting changes for our 2014 event - it will be on a Thursday (one day closer to the weekend) and it will be one hour longer (more time to celebrate with friends), and there will be a $5 per person charge.

Our 6th Annual Oktoberfest party is going to the next level with a new day of the week and extending the time so everyone has more time to visit with friends and enjoy all that is Oktoberfest.

The same great German food will be available, the Duck Pond is back again (buy a $5 Oktoberfest Duck, float it in the pond and you could be the lucky duck that takes home 1/2 the pot), and a chance to win a $200 VISA gift card.

Companies can purchase Party Paks to send employees and/or clients to one funtastic evening. A $50 Party Pak covers (12) guests (that's 2 free additional guests) and a $100 Party Pak covers (25) guests (that's 5 free additinal guests).

Companies can also be a sponsor of this great event and have a chance to visit with 200+ guests at one place. A minimum of $300 will include a 6' display table at the event and (5) guest spots.

The Printing Museum's

The Gutenberg Dinner

Wednesday, October 8, 2014

Houston Country Club

6:30PM

This year, The Printing Museum is privileged to honor Julie and Andy Plata. Their OutputLinks Communications Group serves the global corporate communications industry. As leaders in the field, with combined experience of more than 50 years, Andy and Julie Plata have served as advisors to many of the world’s major companies. In 2011, the Platas purchased American Printer, a 130+ year-old industry trade magazine. Historic issues of this publication form a substantial part of the Museum’s collections. The Platas brought American Printer into the 21st Century by converting it to an individualized “B2Me” format. Their dedication to advancing printing in the digital age continues to be an inspiration to the entire field.

Please join the communications community for a delightful evening celebrating the Museum, our honorees, and the best of print culture. The event will feature mixing and mingling, in addition to dinner and drinks, a silent auction, and the opportunity to pull a print on an antique press.

Each year, The Printing Museum presents a vibrant program of rotating exhibitions, hands-on tours, and workshops. Please know that your support is crucial in sustaining the Museum’s educational programming, in addition to caring for the Museum’s significant collections of historical documents, presses, and other artifacts.

For complete event information, visit www.printingmuseum.org or call the Museum at 713-522-4652.
