GEA Gala  - Only 5 seats available

The industry will be Standing Strong at the 2015 Graphic Excellence Awards Gala on Wednesday, April 22nd at the Doubletree Greenway Plaza.

Join us next week to see all the entries that were Standing Strong this year in the 2015 Graphic Excellence Awards Competition.

Each year Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast’s Graphic Excellence Awards Competition recognizes the best in technology and craftsmanship from the region’s printing, imaging, finishing and creative community. And every year companies push the envelope on superb quality and inspiring detail in their work. A new year brings astounding creativity with leading – edge technology that brings concepts to life.

This year ten of the top senior students in the University of Houston Digital Media Program will be joining us to share their student portfolios with the industry.

And while you're at it, take a look at the items in the Silent Auction with proceeds benefitting the UH Program. Items available to bid on will include autographed memoribilia from JJ Watt (pictures, a football and jesey) Craig Biggio, Drew Brees, Earl Campbell,  Nolan Ryan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Leonard Nimoy and many more.

Our special guest speaker this year is Printing Industries of America Board Chairman, David Olberding. David is the CEO of Phototype in Cincinnati, Ohio. David will give a brief overview on how their company adapted to the constant changes in the industry - especially as a pre-press house. With clients like Procter and Gamble and M&M Mars candy, they have taken their services to a global level.
