This year's Graphic Excellence Award ceremony was a wonderful and exciting evening!  This sold event was held at the DoubleTree Greenway Plaza on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015, and the very best of the best in printing and graphics in Houston turned out.

PIGC President, Jeff Birmingham and PIGC Director, Patty Eldridge emceed along with co-hosts Gaylyn Devine of TLS Graphics and GEA Committee Chair, and Joy Zehrbach of BEB-Business Extension Bureau and GEA Committee member.  We even had a special guest present to hand out the coveted awards, David Olberding, Board Chairman of Printing Industries of America.

Our silent auction benefiting the University of Houston's Digital Media, Bachelor of Science program was a resounding success and offered a wide array of sports memorabilia, airline tickets and other wonderful items.  Thank you to everyone that participated.

We also heard from Edmond Rossi of of Crown Embossing about the new Houston Print Media Young Professional Group.  Click here for details on this exciting and growing networking group. 

Even our "official" hashtag of the evening #GCGEA was buzzing with activity as participants joined the conversation.
